Making her debut in the Asian nation, Shakira took the stage for a concert in China on New Year's Eve (December 31).
The Colombian singer joined a lineup of local favorites similar to Sa Dindding, Lee Jung-hyun and Maksim Mrvica while on-hand for the CCTV event held in Beijing.
During the course of her stage duties, Shakira churned out three songs together with a model of "Waka Waka" during which she taught the viewers the accompanying dance moves.
While this was the 33-yr-old's first efficiency in China, she's nicely-recognized as a result of her world hit tune - as "Waka Waka" was the official theme music of this previous year's World Cup.
